Use a simple tool to increase hip and knee health

Weak and imbalanced hips can wreak havoc on knees and the lower back.  Here are two very easy exercises to strengthen hip stabilization.

Sit on a “stability disk”. Is like sitting on a stability ball, but flatter and smaller.  (Purchase at Dick’s or Target) at home, work or school.  You probably won’t even notice how effective it is, but your core will!
Stand on one foot.  Practicing balance is good for maintaining balance and a great exercise for quadriceps, gluteus maximus, ankle stability and hip/core stabilization.  Here is a video on how to use the stability disc: click here
